The challenge
Running a national competition is an operations problem before it's an education one. Participants have to enrol, work has to be scored, and results have to be reported — at a scale where spreadsheets and manual tracking stop working and start causing mistakes. Aggrovator needed a system that could take enrolment, manage the scoring process, and produce the reporting the programme depends on. Off-the-shelf LMS platforms weren't built for the specific shape of this competition.
The build
We started by mapping the workflow — how a participant enters, how work moves through scoring, and what reporting the organisers need out the other end. That blueprint mattered here more than anything, because a competition system has rules and edge cases a generic LMS doesn't account for.
We then built the platform around that flow: enrolment intake, a scoring process that fits how the competition is actually judged, and reporting that turns raw activity into results and summaries. Learner-facing and admin-facing sides were designed together, so participants get a clean experience while organisers keep full oversight.
The outcome
Aggrovator runs enrolment, scoring, and reporting for a national competition through one custom system, in place of the manual, spreadsheet-driven process that couldn't scale.
